Overall great box and I ordered another one. 5 items had broken zippers, I did not try to repair them or list. 2 have magnets that I still need to try removing. Other than that flaws were not significant
I’ve ordered a total of 3 of these boxes. ALL 3 have been absolutely AMAZING 😍 After selling just 9 items 2 boxes are paid for! These items did take some work but totally worth the effort! Stains removed with Oxiclean or makeup remover, buttons replaced, several zippers totally broken but will still be able to sell for a few dollars, I was also able to fix a few of the zippers. Most of the items I received were from spring/summer 2024. Even kept a few for myself
Out of the 40 items, I have 5 that I will not be able to list due to substantial damage (large fabric tears that cannot be repaired). Sadly all of the dresses had pretty big issues, but on one I was able to fix the zipper and it's like new (YAY!) , and on one other I am just trying to sell cheap with the broker zipper which goes to 6" from the top of the dress. At this cost of goods I will still make money if it sells.
Three 100% linen sweaters had pretty significant snags, but I repaired as best I could, disclosed and listed, so we shall see. They actually don't look bad at all - I'll keep one if it does not sell and happily wear it.
Everything else was SUPER minor flaws - a little make-up transfer, a missing button or hook. All had tags but 2-3 items I think. Pretty sure I will order more.
There’s a lot of work involved in making this box profitable.
I am no stranger to nobody’s perfect box. Matter of fact I love them! This one I m not so sure. Every single piece of Madewell in this box was flawed. All pieces with zipper have a zipper flaw. This def require more elbow grease than usual. I don’t think I will reorder this one due to the flaws
